Barb’s Kitchen Project (please scroll down)

This kitchen was just another dull place to eat meals, but after Lewis Construction got its hands on it, this boring kitchen became the best room in the house.
The first stage of this project was to completely gut the kitchen and take out all the old out-dated cabinets and appliances. Once that was done, the kitchen received brand new drywall and more power outlets were added. The drywall was then painted white, the ceilings were spiraled and off-white crown moulding was installed to give the kitchen a great contrast.
The next step was to install the new cabinets. A wonderful, space-saving feature to this kitchen is the island that was installed at an angle. This angled island gives the kitchen a more open feeling and more room to maneuver. Appliances were next on the list. Barb decided to go with all black appliances including a small, black flat screen television.
Once the cabinets and appliances were carefully installed, countertops were added and the last of lights were installed over the island.

And there it is, a brand new kitchen in approximately two weeks. Take a look at the before, during and after pictures of Barb’s Kitchen Project below.
